OTN is seeing a large rise in requests for support from around the world, particularly from Uganda, where the President has rejected a new hardline ‘anti-gay’ bill as not tough enough. Following a recent online meeting with several people across Uganda, OTN trustee Neil Rees shares this reflection.

OTN Patron wins award for LGBT+ charity support

FORMER BISHOP OF LIVERPOOL the Right Revd Paul Bayes has won an award for his advocacy for LGBT+ people across Merseyside and beyond. On Thursday 6th April Bishop Paul, who retired in February 2022, was honoured with the LCR Pride Foundation Award.

Unutterably cruel – On the EHRC’s proposal to redefine ‘sex’ in the Equality Act
