THIS WEEK’s Church Times has a summary of our research into the impact on the well-being of Open Table communities on the well-being of LGBTQIA+ Christians.

The report, the fourth story in ‘UK News In Brief’ here, gives a short overview of Open Table Network: Research and Case For Support 2021, produced by independent not-for-profit consultancy Civil Society Consulting CIC.

OTN commissioned the research because we became e a charity in March 2021, at a time when LGBT Christians were being adversely affected by national lockdowns, because they have lacked access to in-person emotional and spiritual support.

The report recommends increasing the number of OTN communities over the next three to five years, and improving existing communities to “welcome, affirm and empower” LGBT Christians better, through training, peer support, and sharing resources.
